Greetings from the Arkansas State Fair!!!!

It is our hope that this letter finds you doing well. 2020 will definitely go down in history as a remarkable, candid and challenging year. The challenges that we endured and continue to endure will strengthen each person individually. The pageant and talent team have worked tirelessly on plans for a 2021 competition. We are looking forward to seeing everyone!!!!

To the County / District Director:

Please read all of the following carefully!!! There are some changes and additions this year!

• All paperwork is to be mailed. No email will be checked for paperwork.
• Mail a winners form for your 2021 competition. There is a form in the contestants packet for each the junior queen and fair queen.
• Please complete each area of the Winners form. Phone numbers and email addresses are vital to the Arkansas State Fair!
• Mail contestant resumes in for each contestant participating
• Email a headshot contestant photo to the following: tiffany@asfg.net **NOTE …make certain the photo is saved by county title and name. Example: Miss Independence County – Joan Warren.  Instructions regarding the FaceBook voting are at the end of this packet!
• All field director information is listed at the bottom of this letter,. Please make contact with your field director if you have any questions.

The crowd favorite FaceBook voting will continue this year. Additional cash prizes and scholarships are generated through this avenue. The headshot photograph is a requirement, which is listed in the rules below. Adhere to the rules concerning the FaceBook voting.

The County / District Directors need to order your crowns  from the Arkansas State Fair. Two crowns have been set aside for each county. Please call the Arkansas State Fair at 501-690-4809 to order your crown!

Active Wear for the Arkansas State Fair must be purchased from Kick’s Active Wear!!! The order form for Kick’s is available to you in the packet!!! Please complete the order form and submit it as soon as possible following your county / district competition. Contestants may choose to purchase their Active Wear from Kick’s on the county / district level. However, a different set MUST be purchased prior to the state competition. Separate colors for county and state will be available. The ActiveWear attire will be delivered to the Arkansas State Fair and ready for the contestant’s evening competition.

Also, this year, each county / district competition is required to follow the contract that is enclosed. You as the director MUST utilize this contract as well as send in a signed copy with your winners / directors form. In order to play in our game, our rules and contract must be followed!!!!

To the county / District Contestant

The Arkansas State Fair Pageant and Talent staff is excited to award this opportunity to our state’s youth. Our top concern is the health and safety for each and every one of our contestants!

A headshot photo will be required. All photos should be emailed to the following tiffany@asfg.net.  The on-line crowd favorite voting via FaceBook will continue. Please read the rules carefully below regarding this requirement.

While we are certain that some information has been inadvertently left out, a continuous communication with field directors will be made. In turn, the field directors will be making continuous communication with county / district directors.

• Minimum of $25 is required to activate, each $5=1 vote)  Activation is MANDATORY. For eligibility to compete, ALL contestants in the Miss and Junior Miss Arkansas State Fair Queen Competition MUST submit a photo and activate the photo. This is not an option, rather mandatory.
