ADDITIONAL COST

Contract/Deposit

A contract will be issued between the Arkansas Livestock Show Association and the event. A non-refundable deposit equal to one day’s rental fee is required with the return of the signed contract.

Payment

First time events are required to pay estimated event costs two weeks prior to the event. Any additional costs not covered by the deposit will be billed to the event immediately following the event.

Insurance

Event insurance is required for all events held at the Arkansas State Fair Complex. A certificate of insurance for property damage and bodily injury in the amount of $1,000,000.00 combined single limit listing the Arkansas Livestock Show Association as an additional insured must be received at least one week prior to the event. The facility can obtain event insurance, if needed, with the cost based on expected attendance and classification of event. Minimum cost for up to 650 attendees is $115 per event.

Signage

ALSA provides production of event banners and signs. Fees based on size and design.

Non-Compete

Building availability for events that are the same or similar in nature may be limited to a 45 day separation of events. Each case will be dealt with on an individual basis.

Security

ALSA Security is required for all events. The number of guards required at an event is determined by the type of event, the number of expected to attend and if alcohol is sold at the event. The number to be scheduled will be determined by the facility and approved by the event prior to the event.

The rate is $20 per hour per guard with a 5 hour minimum.

Uniformed Little Rock Police (LRPD) officers are $45 per hour per officer with a 5 hour minimum.

Concessions/Catering

J & B Catering handles all catering, concessions and beverage sales at the facility. Food and beverages may not be brought onto the grounds without prior approval. Contact Bill Warren at (501) 690-4808 for information on catering.

Facility Advertising

Once the contract and deposit are received, the event information will be included on the facility’s website and phone event message system. If the event has a website, a link can be placed on the facility’s website. Event information will also be placed on the facility’s marquee located near the main gate on Roosevelt Road one week prior to the event.

Wireless internet access available on grounds & in Hall of Industry. (no charge)
